VoiceWeb in Cooperation with First Data Hellas Launches Credit Card Voice Activation (CCVA) for a Number of Banks

First Data Hellas Processing Services & Holdings S.A., the global leader in financial services outsourcing, has trusted VoiceWeb to design, develop and integrate innovative solutions for financial and banking institutions. VoiceWeb aims to assist First Data Hellas in providing a comprehensive array of products to drive easier, faster and smarter electronic commerce to its financial clients and their customers.

VoiceWeb’s CCVA (Credit Card Voice Activation) comes to complement First Data’s suite of end-to-end banking services through which customers can perform transactions more efficiently, with reduced fraud risks and losses but with increased personalization and convenience.

With CCVA, customers of Alpha Bank, Aspis Bank, Pankritia Bank, Panellinia Bank and Proton Bank can now activate their card with just a call. Using their landline or mobile phone and at their own convenience, credit card holders can complete the steps required for their credit, debit or other smart cards' activation.

Using a Speech Recognition enabled IVR system VoiceWeb has managed to offer an automated process for card activation with exceptional caller experience and consistent service quality. Callers are authenticated through a highly secured process and complete the steps as they would do via the ATM.

First Data Hellas and VoiceWeb commit to shortly launch more similar Voice Banking products, making those available to more and more banks and their customers.
